Stack-Light Commander - RC-COM
Wireless Stack-Light Bingo Board
The RC-COM Commander is a powerful tool that can enable your Wireless Andon system to show the status of all of your devices on a large Bingo Board monitor or in an office. Setup is simple. This makes it possible to see the status of your facility at a glance and to install a visual factory system without the need for custom programming.
The Commander Gateway works with Windows-based computers through a USB port. Each Commander can detect and track the status of up to 30 Wireless devices at a time.
The RC-COM Commander Gateway comes with the Stack-Light Commander app that runs on a PC. The standard Commander program has the Bingo Board enabled. Other features can be added as an upgrade at the time of purchase or at a later date.
The Bing Board Program is ideal for use with a Large Monitor hanging in a factory or in a control room. It can also be used on a manager's or maintenance person's desktop computer. The Bingo board adusts for the number of lights in the system and the number of levels on each light.
The names of each Wireless Light can be easily changed to correspond to the devices being monitored in your facility.
The Bingo board can be used to turn the wireless Andon lights on and off. For instance, a person working in an office could use the Commander program at their desk to activate a light at a remote location. The Commander program used in tandem with the Wireless Stack-Lights makes the system bi-directional.
The Stack Light Commander program can be upgraded by adding the Map module. Enabling the Map feature makes it easy to display the lights and their status as they relate to your facility. This is easily done by loading a drawing of your facility's layout into the program.
The Wireless Lights Lights can be positioned on your facilities map so the status of your facility is easy to see on a desktop PC or on an overhead monitor. Once the lights are positioned on the map as desired, the configuration can be saved and will automatically load whenever the Stack-Light Commander program is launched.
Multiple Commander Gateways and Stack-Light Commander programs can be running at the same time. This allows for the status of a facility to be viewed at more than one location.
Stack-Lights Wireless system can be configured in a variety of ways. One Transmitter can control multiple lights or multiple transmitters can control one light. This system is very flexible making it easy to set up a system that works for your unique application.
The Wireless Stack-Light system uses a Mesh Network. Each device has a range of around at least 100 feet. The range can be affected by walls and other obstacles. However, the range can be extended with the use of repeaters or other Stack light wireless devices.
The beauty of the Mesh Network is that the signaling is passed between devices. The signal will find the most efficient path to a wireless unit. Adding devices can extend the range and make the network more robust. Multiple Networks can be used in one facility. This makes it possible to have many Wireless Stack Light products in one facility.
