Tower Light Station
The SBMC50 Multi-Color tower light station is a stand-alone andon that is ideal for production or office environments. The andon's status lights can be changed to red, green, or yellow using the built-in switches.
These can be specified to sound an audible alarm when the light is red or to be silent. The SBMC50 is powered by a standard 110V outlet which makes installation easy. The power cord is 6 feet long but can be customized upon request. The LED andon system is designed with aesthetics in mind. It is modern and attractive. This makes it ideal for offices as call center lights or to inform customers that a lane is open.
State-of-the-art LED technology is used in these lights to make them energy-efficient and long-lasting. The lights have an estimated lifespan of 50,000 hours and the LEDs consume less than 1/5 of the energy that a similar filament-type bulb would use.
These andon stack lights are easy to install and come with a built-in mounting bracket.
The SBMC50R Tower Light with Remote Control is another option. This version has a cable between the light and the control. These are ideal for projects where the light and the control need to be located in different places. The standard length for the cable between the control and the light is 6.5 feet. But other lengths can be provided. Call or email for special requests.
Other andon stations are available as well. The SBSL60 stack light with remote control shown below uses standard stack lights with the control connected with a cable. These tower lights are more traditionally used in factories for status light stations and production management solutions. One of the advantages of the SBSL60 andon stations is that they can display up to five colors as well as have multiple colors on at the same time.

- Green - The machine is running well.
- Yellow - Action is needed to prevent a stop in production.
- Red - Help is needed now. Work has stopped.
- White - Typically used to indicate shift change or product change-over.
- Blue - Typically signals that a quality issue has been identified.
